After creating the bow, I prefer to dovetail the ends or cut them at an angle.

Garland with deep rich fall color blooms.

As a bargain hunter, I stumbled upon a stunning garland at Hobby Lobby, marked down a whopping 40%. The floral hues were a breathtaking blend of deep plum, fiery crimson, sunny orange, creamy white, and coral pink—a perfect transitional palette from summer to autumn.

Fitting the garland onto a grapevine wreath.

This garland can be effortlessly shaped into a circle by overlapping the ends and securing them with floral wire!

I used a grapevine wreath as a base to create a fuller, more substantial wreath. You can often find great grapevine wreaths at thrift stores, yard sales, or even repurposing old ones. I snagged this one for just $1.50 at a local thrift shop.

Assembling a fall wreath using a garland.

One end of the garland was tucked into the grapevine wreath and secured with floral wire. Next, the garland was arranged around the center of the wreath, and floral wire was used to secure it to the wreath.

Continue securing the garland to the grapevine wreath. Be sure to leave a space to add your bow to the wreath.

Flip the wreath over to add a piece of floral wire through the wreath and twist so the ends are wrapped around and no longer poking out. It will create a loop for hanging the wreath.

You can finish the wreath by adding the bow. Secure the bow to the wreath using the wire. The tails of the ribbon can be tucked into the wreath. My bow was placed to the side of the wreath.
