Easy Nature Inspired DIY Easter Centerpiece

Decor

20 Mar

Not sure what to put on your table or island for Easter? I have an easy nature inspired DIY Easter centerpiece for you.

This year for my spring decorations, I have been using more organic items. Items of interest from the outside found in nature.

I have been keeping it easy too. By using a lot of items that I have around the house helps to save money. It allows to me to splurge on some new or thrifted dishes or candle holders.

What do you put on the table for Easter?

You can go do anything from an elaborate table scape to creating a simple vignette on the center of the table. A vase of fresh cut flowers from a local market or grocery store looks beautiful on the table. Try flanking the vase with candle holders and use a pretty spring color taper candle that coordinates with your flowers.

What are good Easter Colors?

In Christianity, hues of purples are used during Lent. The prominent colors are usually white and gold, These colors represents the holiness and triumph of the resurrection of Jesus.

Typically, beautiful spring colors are used on the table from pinks, lavender, yellow, blues and greens.

I love to decorate all of the tables in my home. Here is an easy centerpiece that I created for my kitchen table. I hope it inspires you to think of ways to decorate your home for Easter

Let me show you an easy nature inspired DIY Easter centerpiece for your table. This centerpiece would look beautiful on kitchen island, coffee table or buffet.

How to make an Easy Nature Inspired DIY Easter Centerpiece

vintage crate that has been white wash and the number 67 stenciled on it.

You can use a tray or a vintage crate at the base. It should be something low so it does not obstruct anyone’s vision at the table.

Green Plant in crate to create an easy centerpiece.

Next add a real or faux plant to one side of the tray. Here I am using a vintage crate as my base.

Concrete Rabbit with blue gingham ribbon with a green plant in a create.

Add a rabbit the other side to balance out the DIY Easter centerpiece. Try adding a beautiful ribbon around your rabbit’s neck with a sweet and easy bow.

Spanish Moss added to table centerpiece.

Into the tray, you can add green moss or some Spanish Moss. It adds a layer of natural element found in nature. The moss fills the tray adding some extra texture.

Small Terracotta Pots with Spanish Moss and faux speckled bird egg.

To fill in the space in the center, insert a few small terracotta pots. Try adding a little bit of Spanish Moss inside the pot with a faux bird’s egg.

Faux bird on dried mushroom.

I found this sweet faux bird. A dot of hot glue to the bottom of the bird then onto a piece of dried mushroom. It give more of an organic feel to the Easter centerpiece.

Rabbit with Terracotta pots and faux bird for a centerpiece.

How sweet does this look? Everything here I had in my house. See how easy it is to recycle what you have by shopping your home? This arrangement cost me nothing to make for my table.

It is so fun to create something for your home. Especially when it cost you nothing to make by using what you have around the house.

This rabbit was from last year. This year, it has a bow around it’s neck. The ribbon was left over from another bow project.

Here is a side view of the DIY Easter centerpiece. Now to keep the grandchildren from playing in the moss. LOL

Hope you enjoyed this project!
