I get asked all the time, how to keep your home clutter free? A simple solution, baskets. Below are some of my favorite storage baskets.

A great storage basket are these Savannah Handwoven Seagrass Large Utility Baskets in my mudroom room and pantry.

They are the perfect size for storing items. These baskets hold pet supplies (dog harness, leashes, collapsible dog bowls). Two baskets have shoes neatly tucked away. One basket holds small tools for quick use or to stow away.

My favorite storage basket is this Large Round Water Hyacinth Wicker Storage Basket with Lid. It’s been a game changer for me in my Master Bathroom. It functions as a stool for me to put on my make-up. It can function as storage. The lid remove for amazing storage. I put my hair dryer, curling and flat irons, etc. in here. It frees up space in my vanity cabinet. It’s very sturdy!

Baskets are not just for storage of stuff. You can use them to put your real potted plants in. I love how this Tree Philodendron looks in a basket. It helps to support the growing branches of the plant. This a particular basket is no longer available. I do have some wonderful alternatives.

It’s great to drop in a faux plant into a basket too. These cute baskets you can find with white or black bottoms.

This list gives you a good idea of what is stored in baskets around the house. Baskets have many functions. They are perfect to put gifts in it them for bridal showers, baby showers or new baby gifts, house warming, etc.

One of my favorite ways to use baskets are to keep throws and pillows in them. You can use them to holds a couple of throws. Let a throw spill over the top for visual interest too. The texture of the basket and throw make the room feel cozy.

Now let’s not forget the commodity that was in high demand in 2020, toilet paper. I have a large tote basket in the Master Bathroom. It is perfect to hold a multitude of toilet paper and wipes. Perfect size to stick in the children’s room for toys.

Baskets come in a vast array of styles and materials. From woven wicker to sleek metal, you can find baskets that complement any décor. They add texture, warmth, and a touch of personality, making your home more visually appealing.
