Did you ever want to do something fun and whimsical when it came to decorating for Halloween? I decorated my front porch for Fall as soon as the calendar flipped to September 1st. Then when October rolled around, I decided I would change out a few things to make it festive for Halloween. Not too Scary but fun!
I just love this ghost wreath that I found on Etsy. Isn’t she just adorable?

This Ghost Wreath – Halloween Wreath is by Everbloomingoriginal. I fell in love with it. These little ghost wreath that comes in a mini and a regular. Mine shown is the regular. The wreath can be customized by choice of face and selection of bow. How fun! My grandchildren thinks she is pretty darn cute too. I wanted my door to be fun, not scary for the little ones. I added felt bats around the door way and even have a few hanging upside down. The bats that I purchased sold out. However, you could use these bats and they would work great for the outdoors.

By layering rugs it adds some texture. I found this great 2’x3′ Indoor/Outdoor Reversible Scatter Rug at Target. One side of the rug has checks and it reverses to stripes. You can use it throughout the seasons and just add a seasonal rug on top like I did here for Halloween.
The black planter urns are perfect for holding Mums this time of the year. My Mums are really blooming now in gorgeous hues of deep burgundy.
The porch was finished off with two lanterns, lots of pumpkins from the local orchard and a crazy looking skeleton. Piper, our little French Bulldog does not like the skeleton. I think she will be glad when Billy Bones is packed up and away.
Happy Haunting everyone! Pop over to my Home Tour to see how I decorated the home for the fall season.
