Good morning, sweet friends! Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee Talk. Hope you have your cup of coffee in hand (tea or Favorite beverage).
Here on Saturday, I talk about random things going on over at White Lilac Farmhouse or little something about myself.

Last Saturday was a busy day at White Lilac Farmhouse. I was hosting a private tea party for two in honor of my lovely mother. It was her 76th birthday.

With COVID, we are not able to go out anywhere to have lunch. She has gotten both vaccine shots. I have not and still being very careful because of my asthma.
My mother has been an amazing role model for me. She is my closest friend. So even though we could not go anywhere, this birthday still had to be special. After all she is so precious and special to me.

She is just the sweetest lady on the face of the plant. Her heart belongs to the Lord, my father, her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Ellen makes sure that everyone she encounters is made special too. People gravitate to this shy beautiful soul.

For this day, we were going to have girls day with a little bling and some frills. Faux pearls, rhinestone heart napkin rings, tulle, and tea sets given to me on my 30th birthday from her filled the tablescape.
I used the Spring Tiered Plates Stands made just for this day.

Homemade curry chicken salad on croissants; open faced cucumber dill sandwiches; large red juicy strawberries; and miniature desserts were served with hot Cinnamon Plum tea.
We laughed and shared stories like two girlfriends. We cried over touching stories as we shared special moments our secrets.

It was a lovely time. We created new memories together. She felt very special. Happy birthday, Mama! I love you so much.
Have a great weekend friends!
