Saturday Morning Coffee Talk

Decor

3 Apr

Good morning, sweet friends! Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee Talk. Hope you have your cup of coffee in hand (tea or Favorite beverage).

Here on Saturday, I talk about random things going on over at White Lilac Farmhouse or little something about myself.

I hope everyone had a great week. This week, I got my second COVID Vaccine on Thursday. The only symptoms that I experienced was a swore arm the first day and severe fatigue. Friday, I managed to work until 2 p.m. I made my husband his favorite Pickled Eggs. Then it was in bed for the rest of the day. Today, I woke up feeling like my normal self. I got the Pfizer Vaccine.

This week of the blog, it started with a group of amazing women sharing for the March DIY Challenge to make a Spring Wreath.

Spring Wreath A.jpeg

I create a Spring Wreath that was versatile to place just about anywhere inside or outside your home. The full step by step tutorial can be found here DIY Spring Wreath. It’s is a very easy wreath you can make and may have a floppy beach hat and some flower around the house already.

My friend Leslie created the most beautiful wreath with plates, terracotta pots Check out her blog post “It’s Time to Add Life Back Into the Porch!” I want to make a wreath similar to Leslie’s for over my fireplace. Hoping to work on it later today. It would make a beautiful Mother’s Day gift.

Favorite Upcycle Bench 2.jpg

This sweet little dog turned 1 year old on Wednesday. Let me tell you, this little ball of fur has brought nothing but joy into my life. Especially, last year when everything shut down due to the pandemic.

She is sitting on my favorite upcycled bench. I drove clear to Delaware last Friday to pick up this gorgeous bench. You can read more about it here.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend. We are keeping our Easter dinner small this year but it will still be nice.

A great post, Tammy! Loved your hat and that bench! And that sweet dog is the best! Hope you are feeling better. First Pfizer down here, so I’m praying for handling the second well. Thank you for including my wreath today. Always love our conversations! Happy Easter, sweet friend!

Thanks, Leslie for popping over to the blog. I bought my items to make a plate wreath over the weekend. I am drawing some inspiration from you, sweet friend.
