Good morning, sweet friends! Welcome to Sundays Life Among The Blooms! Hope you have your cup of coffee in hand (tea or favorite beverage).
Thank you for joining me!
Here on Sundays, I talk about random things going on over at White Lilac Farmhouse and things that stop me in my tracks.

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT wHITE lILAC fARMHOUSE
We enjoyed a week long vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC. My parents have a second home in Myrtle. When they are not using it, my siblings and I can enjoy their beach condo.
Jim and I took two of our four grandchildren with us. I would have loved to taken all four of them.

The weather was absolutely beautiful! We did so many fun things with the kiddos. It was all about them! We went swimming everyday on vacation. My favorite was night swimming and having the pool to ourselves.
My husband is a big kid in the pool. So if you don’t want to be wet, you need to stay clear of him.

Both Madilyn and Anakin love Asian Cuisine. My daughter taught them to use chopstick. It was amazing watching them use them.

It was the first time, Madilyn and Anakin had went bowling. Uncle Zach was great working with both of them to help out.
It was great getting away and spending family time together. It would have been more perfect if all of the grown children and the other two grandchildren were with us too.
Favorite finds of the week
This week, I found so many great fall favorites. Now the felt items are not available until September 4th. If you love them as much as I do, keep a watch out for them to go live on Target’s website September 4th. I am sure they are going to sell out!

I am loving these jute rugs with the black accent. And, I have picked out a few more faux plants. They look great if you do not have a green thumb. What I love about faux plants is styling them in a book case or mantel without the mess of watering.

How fun is this bingo game? I have snag one to play with the grandchildren. This brass lantern is available in several sizes. I ordered one for my fireplace. This year, I will be using a few brass elements in my fall home decorations.
This tapered oval seagrass basket would be perfect with a throw tucked in and spilling over the side would look lovely on a fireplace hearth or sitting by the sofa.
These are some of my favorites this week. You will be seeing many of the items styled in my home.
On the blog this week
If you missed it, this week I joined 9 other amazing friends to share our End of The Summer Recipes. I shared my Maryland Crab Cakes with Homemade Coleslaw. Be sure to check out everyone’s wonderful recipes.

I also did a Serena & Lily vase dupe. This vase is sold for $148. I knew it could be made at a fraction of the cost. I have a full tutorial Serena & Lily Vase Dupe here.

How awesome does it look? For me, it was just the cost of the vase because I had the other supplies on hand. It still is expensive to make verses paying $148.
bEAUTIFUL INSPIRATIONS FROM OTHERS
My favorite inspiration this week is from my friend Wendy at WM Design House. I just adore Wendy and she has some many inspiring projects. Just look at this beautiful wreath that incorporates rustic bed springs!

Who would of thought that old rustic bed springs could look so good! See her tutorial here and other items she made with the bed springs Old Bed Spring Crafts: 10 Fabulous Trash to Treasure Ideas.

I don’t know about you but there is no such thing as too many pumpkins. Just look at these neutral pumpkins perfect for any room of the house. Of course, you can create them in any color too!
