Good morning, sweet friends! Welcome to Sundays Life Among The Blooms! Hope you have your cup of coffee in hand (tea or favorite beverage).
Here on Sundays, I talk about random things going on over at White Lilac Farmhouse and things that stop me in my tracks.
WHAT’S HAPPENING AT WHITE LILAC FARMHOUSE
This weekend our neighbors the Moskals hosted an adult Halloween Party. My friend, Judy is the best hostess for entertaining. She literally leaves no stones turned with incredible food, cocktails and games. There is always lots of laughter.

The Moskals sported their Ted Lasso inspired costumes. It was one of my favorite costumes of the evening. It was fun to see Judy sporting long hair. It’s normally much shorter than mine.

A few photos of the wonderful food that Judy made for the party. The photos does not do the spooky basement justice. The food and specialty cocktails (Apple Poison & Witches Brew) were delightful and delicious. She is known for her unbelievable Jell-O Shooters. We had several but the ones that stuck out the most were the Apple Pie and Caramel Apple. Smooth and delicious going down!

Across the street from us, our neighbors the Shaws did not disappoint with their Halloween costumes. Jeremy won scariest costume. You can see why! He made the collar piece for his costume and stitched it himself. What a great costume!

Last night, the evening was perfect for the guest to mingle outside by the fire pit or inside the warm basement to eat. I love their backyard patio and landscaping, beautiful. The Halloween decorations sprinkled in were the perfect touches.

There were lots of couples in great costumes. Here are just a couple more.
Jim and I dressed up as ice cream and a spoon. Our neighbors next door, the Marconis were Beth and Rip from Yellow Stone. Ronnie had a temporary tattoo as if he was branded. Yikes!
Closing out October with lots of fun and laughter with great friends.
Hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!
ON THE BLOG THIS WEEK
A little recap this week on Sundays Life Among The Blooms No. 10, I had a few fun items.

I did A Great Thrift Store Makeover With Paint & Transfers. It was an easy project and the transformation looks amazing.

Another fun project this week was How to Make a Custom Doormat with a Stencil. This project was not only easy and fun, it took less than 20 minutes. A great item to make and give as a gift too.

With the chilly evenings, I have the perfect cocktail for the sitting around the fire. It can be served hot or cold. Try this Amazing Hot Fireball Apple Cider for the Holidays.
fActs about blogging
This week on Sundays Life Among The Blooms No. 10, I wanted to share some facts about blogging.
Hope you Next week the fall decorations are being packed up. As a blogger/influencer, we are usually one to two months ahead posting about the holidays. It’s due to when products are released. Many of us are working with brands that we love. When new products are released we are posting.

Also another thing to keep in mind, the supply and demands of products. Many times items sell out way before the holidays. We are usually blogging along side the calendars displays with the retail stores. Once items are gone, they may not be restocked due to supply chain issues.
It cost money to run a blog to bring you tips and tricks in decorating. Through affiliate links or paid posts, it helps me bring you free tutorials to support my blog.
BEAUTIFUL INSPIRATIONS FROM OTHERS
Here are some of my favorites inspirations this week from my blogging friends.

I love this gorgeous dresser by Do Dodson Designs. This White And Modern Wood Dresser (Two-Toned) Makeover is stunning. You should see the before photo. Talk about making something old and outdated into something that looks brand new! She took two chalk mineral paint colors by Dixie Belle to create a custom color wash.
