Good morning, sweet friends! Welcome to Sundays Life Among The Blooms! Hope you have your cup of coffee or tea for some inspiration.
Here on Sundays, I talk about random things going on over at White Lilac Farmhouse and things that stop me in my tracks.

I came a cross this quote above. It is beautiful and spoke to my heart.
A Bible verse from Romans 12:9 states “Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.”
Family time to time may have disagreements. Over the years, I have experienced them as well. You should never loath or have feelings of hatred. We must learn to forgive in our hearts and forgive others that may have hurt us.
Is a disagreement really worth not talking to parent, sibling or child? Life is to short to harbor feelings of anger.
My word of the year is “Healing”. It is about healing physically, spiritually and mentally. From the inside out!
A friend and I are both reading the book, The Sugar Jar by Yasmine Cheyenne.

Yasmine Cheyenne is a wellness advocate and self-healing coach. This book is about setting boundaries for yourself to self-heal and choose joy. You will learn how to set healthy boundaries for yourself.
As women, we tend to give so much of ourselves to others. We wear many hats as providers, wives, mothers, daughter, sister, friend, co-worker, volunteer, etc. When was the last time you had a “me day” for yourself? Are you good about taking time for yourself?
The Sugar Jar shows you how to make little adjustments to nurture your energy and create a more balance healthy life (healing).
I have just started this book. So far it has been very good.
what’s happening at white lilac farmhouse
The basement renovation project is coming a long good. We have inspection on Monday. Wednesday, the basement will get drywall. It is getting closer to being finished.

The plumbing rough in is completed for the wet bar. We are waiting for our cabinetry to come in. There will be a mini refrigerator, a cabinet for the sink and a cabinet with drawers to hold snacks.

The HVAC was reroute in the room for heat and the return vent was added to a wall.

We had electric down in the basement. During the initial home build, the bathroom and my craft room were already finished off.
The electricians put in recessed lighting in the room. More electrical outlets were ran in the room and the storage closet. We also had a light installed in the closet under the stairs.

This main wall will house the large television and speakers. We had a 5.1 Surround Sound System put in. There will be two speakers on the wall . The subwoofer will be in the corner to the left.

Two speakers will be inserted in the ceiling. The speakers will go in after the room is a couple of coats of paint.
This project is coming a long. We need to go through inspection on Monday. The drywall on Wednesday.
what’s left after the drywall?
-Hanging of doors
-Trim work
-Wet bar area (cabinets, hook up mini refrigerator and feature wall)
-Painting
-Run longer cable for television & Internet
-Installation of lighting and switches/outlets and covers
-Television installation
-Installation of the speakers & equipment
-Carpet
-Final inspection
You can see there is a lot of coordination that goes on. I work with the General Contractor (GC). We set up when the contractors come out. There are some things, I handle on my own. The cabinets, mini refrigerator, installation of the cables, surround sound and carpeting are handled by myself. I designed the room. The GC is making it a reality.
