The Big Reveal – Sunday Breeze
Grab your favorite ceramic mug and fill it with something warm and comforting. We are beginning a new chapter together today, sweet friend.
If you have been following along, you know my heart has always been minutes from the coast. Today I am officially opening the windows and letting that shore air in, so to speak. Welcome to the very first Sunday Breeze, the new name for our weekend chats.

You may be wondering what happened to Life Among the Blooms. She has not gone anywhere; she simply grew into something new. The same warm gathering at the end of the week, the same favorite finds and inspiration, the same heart behind every word. Just a name that feels more like what it has always been. A slow exhale. A coastal breeze. A little something beautiful before the new week begins.
There have been a few beautiful changes happening around here. I am so excited to walk you through all of them. The blog still leans into that coastal and cozy style that is all about sanctuary, rest, and home styling that breathes. It features my signature shades of blue, green, soft sand, and sea salt, along with my best tips for creating a cozy, restful home. Every Sunday, this will still be our gathering place to catch up on the week and what blew in, from garden inspiration to cozy home styling tips that make your space feel like a sanctuary.
So settle in. The Sunday Breeze is officially open. Let’s catch up.
What’s New at White Lilac Farmhouse?
This has been such an exciting season of growth and change around here. I want to walk you through everything that is new so you do not miss a thing.
The Heart of the Change: The Anchored Gift

The most exciting part of this new season is a monthly series I am calling The Anchored Gift. I believe the best thing we can do with a beautiful home is use it as a place to encourage others. Once a month, I plan to share with you a faith-based or encouraging handmade gift project. These are not just ‘crafts’. They are intentional pieces designed to be made with your hands and given with a prayer or words of encouragement. Gifts that are truly anchored in love and hope. You can read more about The Anchored Gift here, including the launch date.
The Cultivated Sanctuary

I will be leaning deeper into The Cultivated Sanctuary this year, focusing on the beauty of bringing the outdoors in. Whether it’s a fresh clip of white lilacs or a simple flowering branch, we will explore how nature helps us cultivate a life of rest.
Spring is arriving, and the garden is beginning to stir. I am watching for the first signs of new growth with the same quiet excitement I feel every single year. There is joy in seeing something emerge from what looked, just weeks ago, like bare cold ground. There is a lesson in that I never tire of learning.
Home Styling: Creating Breezy, Cozy Spaces
I want to share with you how to create breezy, cozy spaces that feel like a breath of fresh air. At the heart of everything I do is a love for Home Styling. To me, a home should never feel like a showroom. It should feel like a cozy, lived-in sanctuary, warm and inviting. This year, I want to share more intentional styling tips with you and explore how to blend that airy coastal feel with the soul of any home. Creating spaces that aren’t just beautiful to look at, but are truly restorative to live in.
Think breezy textures, layered neutrals, vintage finds with a story, and the kind of styling that makes you exhale the moment you walk in the door. That is what we are building together here.
What Blew In This Week — On the Blog

Breath of Fresh Air: Refreshing Your Home for Spring – Spring is officially calling, and this week on the blog, I shared some of my favorite ways to refresh your home for the new season without spending a fortune. Think airy blue palettes, lightweight textiles, and the simple art of shopping your own home first. A breath of fresh air for every room.
The Ultimate Guide to Attracting Hummingbirds – If you have ever wanted a garden full of hummingbirds but were not sure where to start, this week’s post is for you. I am sharing the complete guide. Recommendations from the plants they cannot resist, to the feeder secrets that keep them coming back season after season. Spring is the perfect time to get ready for their arrival.
DIY Botanical Butterfly Wall Art: A Beginner’s Block Printing Tutorial – I fell in love with a century-old tradition and brought it home. Block printing has always felt like something reserved for artisans with years of practice. However, this botanical butterfly wall art project completely changed my mind. Using tiny botanical stamps in the most beautiful faded blue and sage green palette, you can create a one-of-a-kind piece of wall art. It looks complex, expensive, and deeply soulful. And the best part? It is completely beginner-friendly. Your walls deserve something handmade, and this is it.
Handmade Gift Ideas: Introducing The Anchored Gift Series – Have you ever given a gift and wished it carried a little more meaning? That question has been living in my heart for a long time — and this week I finally answered it. Come read about The Anchored Gift and what is coming your way on Thursday, April 2nd. I think it will be one of your favorite things we have ever done together here.

- This beautiful blue-and-white monogrammed apron.
- I have always wanted carriers for my crockpot and/or casserole dish. I found both in this beautiful blue-and-white shell pattern. There are other options available, too, including different monogram options. A great gift for Mother’s Day, birthdays, showers, etc.
- These stunning real-touch Hydrangeas. A set of three looks beautiful in a vase.
- This sweet wicker rabbit could be used for spring or into summer.
- These pretty spring coffee mugs (set of 4) are in blue, white, and green. Love them!
- I ordered this Botanical Watercolor Kit to create some wall art.
- I broke a soap dispenser in my guest bath and grabbed this one at a great price point.
I am truly grateful you are on this journey with me. What started as a small corner of the internet where I shared home projects and garden moments has grown into something I never expected.
Every good and perfect gift is from above. — James 1:17
It is a genuine community of sweet friends who love beautiful things. You also believe, as I do, that a well-made home and a well-lived life are two of the greatest gifts. The Sunday Breeze is my promise to show up for you every week with something worth reading, something worth making, and something worth carrying into the days ahead. A little stillness. A little beauty to anchor you before the new week begins.
With a heart full of gratitude,
